Time for a change. The city we called home for 8 years treated us well. I can’t imagine my life without Massachusetts. There isn’t much to be said that I haven’t already expressed. But Chris and I (mostly Chris) tried to remember everything we loved, learned and will lose in a handy map. I’m always scared new experiences will write over old ones so this may come in handy...

Moving Day by Ron Koertge While sitting home one night, I hear burglars fiddling with the lock. This is what I’ve been waiting for! I run around to the back and open the door, invite them in, and pour some drinks. I tell them to relax, and I help them off with shoes and masks. In a little while we are fast friends, and after a dozen toasts to J. Edgar Hoover, they begin to carry things out....

if today had a theme, it would be GARBAGE. this morning was a reminder that in all matters, adjacent to refuse is refuse. which moved into this afternoon, where i could proudly declare good riddance to bad rubbish. leading to this evening. no fancy double-entendre quote applies here. i just plan on getting mildly trashed. oh, and this of course.
